See India
Delhi
22.10.22
We have left it to our guests to organise their own transport to Delhi. We will be staying at the Best Western Darbar & Bloomrooms @ New Delhi Railway Station. We will let you know which hotel you're staying in at a later date. There's lots to see and do in Delhi, but we don't have much time here, we recommend going out and seeing the city at night. We'll be leaving early the next morning for Agra!
Agra
23.10.22
Agra is of course the home of the Taj Mahal. Despite the hype, it's every bit as good as you've heard. Completed in 1648 AD, the Taj Mahal celebrates the great love of India's Mughal ruler Shah Jahan. He built the Taj to honour his beloved wife Arjumand Banu Begum after she died giving birth to his 14th child. Here, we'll see Agra Fort, Tomb of Itimad-Ud-Daulah, watch the sun set over the Taj Mahal from the East Gardens and celebrate the Gifford's 30th birthday!
Jaipur
24.10.22
We'll leave Agra early for the captial of Rajasthan. Jaipur's colourful streets are a beautiful mix of old and new. Here, we'll visit the Pink City and Amber and Nahargarh Forts. There will be Dwiali celebrations and if you like, you can go and see a traditional Rajasthani dance show while you eat dinner.
